In only a few days time, on Sunday 3rd June, thousands of people are set to flock to the streets of Derby to take on the latest half marathon to be added to the Run For All series. Flat and fast with a picturesque route, it’s a course which is perfect for both half marathon veterans and for those who are just setting out on their running journey.
Also part of the RunDerby Race Series and formerly known as Ramathon, this year’s event is set to build on the proud foundations laid down over previous years. Starting and finishing at Pride Park – the home of Derby County FC, the route takes participants straight into the vibrant city centre, through the historic Market Place and past the beautiful cathedral before heading back down London Road. It’s then on to the stunning Elvaston Castle County Park, before returning for the grand finale at Pride Park.
An electric atmosphere, great road-side support, chip timing, finisher’s goody bag, quality tech T-shirt, exclusive medal and free medal engraving await all those who complete the Derby Half. That along with memories to cherish for many years to come.

Why not make it a family day out? The Timms Solicitors Derby Family Fun Run is a great chance to get the family together and active. Running alongside the Half Marathon, the course is flat and approximately two miles in length – suitable for all ages and abilities. Every finisher will receive a goody bag and finisher’s medal to show the world they did it!
