2024 marks the 10th edition of the hugely popular RunDerby Race Series – showcasing the best running races in and around Derby.
This year’s Race Series includes 7 running events in the Derby region starting in May and going to November. Taking part in any number of these events automatically generates points for the runner (or volunteer) based on the finishing position in each race. No additional registration is required to take part in the Race Series.

9.30am, Sunday 12th May 2024
Our Sinfin 5 race is back for 2024 at Sinfin Moor Park. The course is a 5 mile route all on tarmac paths, running around the park then going for an "out 'n back" up Sinfin Lane, to return for another loop of the Park to the finish.
9.30am, Sunday 19th May 2024
Runners complete a full 7.5 mile clockwise circuit of the reservoir, taking in spectacular views across the water and the beautiful Derbyshire countryside.
9.15am, Sunday 30th June 2024
The Derbion Ramathon is the perfect event to mark in your calendar and kick off your running or fundraising journey. The biggest half marathon in Derbyshire returns in June, where you'll be backed by Derby's incredible community all the way.

5pm, Saturday 6th July 2024
The challenging, yet enjoyable 5-mile route is inclusive for beginners, intermediate and advanced runners alike.
It takes in the beautiful locations surrounding Smalley, Mapperley and Shipley Country Park. The course is a multi-terrain trail race, which includes scenic woodland, bridleways and rural paths through the picturesque countryside.
10am, Sunday 1st September 2024
The scenic, flat, traffic-free road race is open to all abilities and is an excellent course for people looking for an easy flat 10k or for a PB time. Hosting regional/national championships, the event attracts some of the best British athletes.
9.30am, Sunday 13th October 2024
A flat, fast course with potential for PB. Starts and Finishes near Boulton Lane Community Centre, Alvaston, Derby using the canal path, pavements, roads and footpaths. 10k too far? There’s a fun run too!
10am, Sunday 17th November 2024
The iconic Derby Arena will again be the host venue for this year’s race, providing a brilliant start and finish. The scenic route passes Alvaston Park, the periphery of Elvaston Castle Country Park and along the River Derwent. The course remains very flat and fast, providing the potential for a personal best.
